MEDICAL ASSISTANCE SCHEMES

1. OPTCL MEDICAL ATTENDANCE RULE

   1. Coverage- All regular employees of OPTCL, including trainees.
   2. Provide & regulate the reimbursement of medical & surgical expenses to the employees and the members of their families and to prescribe a ceiling for such reimbursement. 

   3. Currently, only the cases that could not covered under the GHI (regular) scheme are entertained under the rule, e.g. reimbursement for treatment of dependent parents aged above 80 years. 

2. OPTCL HEALTH CHECK-UP SCHEME

   1. Employees and his/her spouses could avail of a total health check-up at the package rate of @2000/- for males and @2200/- for females in corporate tied-up hospitals. 
   2. Presently, employees can get this benefit in AMRI Hospital, Bhubaneswar, and Apollo Hospital, Bhubaneswar. 
   3. Even family members of employees and retired employees can avail of the above benefit under the same package rate at AMRI Hospital, Bhubaneswar. 

   4. The reimbursement facility is available only to employees aged 40 years and above.
